Why haven’t I received my international transfer?

International transfers are often complex and we may not always be able to find out the status of a particular payment.
If you haven’t received your international payment after 5 working days, there are a few things you can do:
- Check the payment was sent in £GBP.
- Check that the sender used your correct details (including your IBAN number).
- Ask the sender to check if the funds have been returned.
- Ask the sender to check with their bank whether the transfer was completed. Please note, if the payment is ‘lost’, the sender’s bank will need to attempt to locate the transfer which can take considerable time.
