Checklist: How to prepare your Dozens account for closure

We’ve taken the decision to close Dozens, the very first brand to have come to life under Project Imagine.

Firstly, we want to reassure all our customers that your money is completely safe. As per usual, all funds are kept in segregated accounts, and all services will be fully up and running for the next two months up to 31 August 2022. 

After Wednesday 31 August 2022, all Dozens account features including debit cards and bank transfers will be unavailable.

Please take steps now to ensure a smooth and quick transfer of your funds.

Current Account

To transfer money out of your current account, go to the Spend section, tap on the payments button, and on UK bank payment, then pay your funds into an alternative account.

Also don’t forget to:

Notify any creditors

Please speak to anyone who may credit your account, for example;

• your employer if your salary is paid in,

• any friends or family who may send you money using details of this account. 

Please note, any refunds you were expecting will credit to your account as normal.

Change any Direct Debits

Please change any Direct Debits you have set up. To do this, you will need to contact the company who the instruction is set up with. 

Cash Savings

To transfer money out of your Cash Savings first you need to transfer it into your Dozens current account. To do this, go to the Grow section of the app, next to ‘My cash savings’ tap on the minus button (-). When your money is moved to your current account, you can then follow the steps above to pay your funds into an alternative account.

If your Cash Savings are held in an ISA and you wish to retain their ISA status you should speak to a new provider about arranging a transfer.

Investments

If you hold investments, you will have received an email from us specifically about your investments. This details all your options and you can liaise with our investment team directly.
